I have been creating and making art all my life…

Whether it was drawing or sculpture I have been working with my hands and creating since I can remember. My father worked in construction and I loved playing with the materials and imagine new applications. In school I studied sculpture and drawing and some painting. I moved to NYC after art school to become immersed in the art world. It was there that I became hooked on photography. First I naturally gravitated towards architecture, ever influenced by my father. Then I moved to dance which I saw as a continuation of architecture. Both were subjects dealing with figures in spaces and the lines between them. I found myself wanting to do portraiture and weddings and engagement photos but I wanted to do something different. I liked photographing in building ruins or challenging spaces. I liked photos with an extra sense of drama or excitement. So here we are now. I’ve been photographing for over a decade now. My wife and I have moved to Germany as she continues her scientific career. I’m excited to photograph in Germany and explore the rich landscapes and heritage.

Some things I like to do in my spare time:

Hiking

Running

Cooking

Metal sculptures

Movies

Traveling

If you are looking for a photographer for your next event, I would love to discuss it with you. The more I know about what you want and need, the better I can fulfill your photographic needs and capture your memories for you.
